Skin rejuvenation

Skin Rejuvenation is a non-invasive procedure that uses laser waves to improve and enhance the appearance of the skin. It is most often performed on the face, neck, chest, and hands to erase the signs of aging.

Our lasers are clinically shown to reduce wrinkles and improve the tone of the skin by non-invasively stimulating new collagen production.

Before and after skin rejuvention treatments

The type of response heard from patients is that they feel like their skin is lifted. There is a decrease in pore size, their skin feels tighter, and there is a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles.

By combining visible light and infrared light of the laser we take care of noticeable coloration defects and also provide the skin toning, tightening, and textural improvement that patients are seeking. Non-invasive techniques for skin rejuvenation are being quickly established as a new standard in the treatment of mild wrinkles and overall skin toning. All patients show improvement after the treatment. It helps collagen tighten and tone, reducing sagging.

Sun damaged skin covers facial imperfections such as pigmented spots, enlarged pores and fine lines, ages spots and dull complexion. Advanced Fluorescent Technology improves superficial and deeper skin layers and rejuvenates the skin.

What is it?
Dark or light complexioned, we all have varying amounts of melanin. Melanin is what gives your skin its colour. Pigmented lesions are dark in colour simply because melanin is abnormally concentrated in one area of the skin. High concentrations of melanin can be due to various factors such as age or overexposure to the sun's damaging rays.

How can it be treated?
Pigmented lesions can be successfully lightened or removed with our high specification AFT laser. Advanced Fluorescent Technology removes pigmented lesions with the energy of light. Each pulse is designed to produce one or more specific light wavelengths which are absorbed by the abnormal concentrations of melanin. The rapid absorption of light energy causes the melanin to breakdown thus reducing concentration of melanin, leaving the treated skin looking uniform in colour and texture.

How does Advanced Fluorescent Technology work?
AFT systems release precisely controlled strong pulses filtered light that stimulate the fibroblast cells within the skin that produce collagen and elastin. This improves the radiancy and tightness of the skin, controlling enlarged pores, and giving a more uniform complexion.

How is the treatment carried out?
The skin is thoroughly cleansed, and then a mild, relaxing skin peel is applied. The peel removes the top layers of dead skin, leaving the skin feeling soother and refreshed.
You will be asked to put on goggles to protect your eyes.

A layer of chilled gel is applied to the area to guide the light into the skin. The light applicator is placed onto the skin and a short pulse of light is released. The applicator is then moved to the neighbouring area and the process is repeated until the entire area is treated. The chilled gel is removed and the area moisturised.
